Had pinacle and microsoft standard supply, both simple to use, this sony is a challenge, BUT well worth the effort, all you do is click on to u tube and ask a question then run the u tube help at the same time as you operate the sony, after a while you will learn how it works and start more ambitious dvdsI think there are up to 6 or 7 sounds you can mix , like the original track on the video you are editing, a sound track, a sound [bell or horn etc] bird, train passing, choir singing, fade in and out, it goes on, interesting for those who don't mind the learning curve.

Also had a go at the 3d with moderate success so far Best video Editing software i have ever had. This is very, very good software. More features than first realized, Does slow motion, time frame motion from images. It outputs in user definable format.

It's don't crash. It really is amazing. And I have tried a few.
